Mixed Berry Blast Smoothie
This delicious Mixed Berry Blast Smoothie will give you a blast of energy with every sip.
The smoothie’s pretty pink hue comes from a mixture of strawberries and blueberries, which are high in fiber while low in calories and sugar.
To change the color to a deeper purple – and to add in even more antioxidants and nutrients – throw in blackberries, raspberries, boysenberries and even acai berries to the mix.
Soy milk provides a plant-based source of protein, making this drink suitable for vegetarians or those who have food sensitivities to milk.
Mixed Berry Blast Smoothie
Serves 4
Ingredients:
8 ounces unsweetened soy milk
1 1/2 cups mixed berries, fresh or frozen
2 bananas
4 ounces orange juice
1 cup ice
Tip: For a thicker smoothie, use less ice.
Directions:
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
