Patricia Morgan, MD
Dr. Patricia Morgan is the medical director for the Kapiolani Child Advocacy and Protection Center. She is board certified in general pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics. She conducts medical evaluations on children who are suspected or confirmed victims of child abuse and neglect.
Morgan received her undergraduate degree from Howard University and her medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (formerly University of Medical and Dentistry of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School). She then spent many years serving the pediatric population of Newark, New Jersey, during her pediatric residency and as chief resident at UMDNJ – University Hospital. Her path led her to work at the Metro Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center, one of four centers in New Jersey providing evaluations for child abuse and neglect.
Currently, she is a volunteer with Aloha Harvest, is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and serves on the American Academy of Pediatrics Executive Committee for the Council on Child Abuse and Neglect (COCAN).
In her spare time, Morgan enjoys traveling, reading, writing, dancing, going to the movies and she actively tends to her “Bucket List.” Her husband and two adult children have to stay on their toes to keep up with her and her joy for life!
