Wilcox
Wilcox Medical Center on Kauai offers breastfeeding support services and consultation at its Women & Infants’ Health Center, located on the fourth floor of the medical center. A lactation specialist will provide one-to-one assistance focused on getting your breastfeeding experience off to a great start. Moms, dads, grandparents and babies are welcome to attend.
Wilcox also offers a free Breastfeeding Hui on the first and third Friday of the month. Open to moms with newborns and babies up to 12 months old, this class is held in the Childbirth Classroom of the medical center.
Breastfeeding moms should always feel comfortable asking for help and asking questions of their health care provider.
