Kauai Urgent Care is NOT an emergency department (ED). If you believe that you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go immediately to the closest ED.
An ED treats patients with very serious or life-threatening problems. EDs are not the place to go for common illnesses or minor injuries.
Emergency departments have specially trained doctors, paramedics, nurses and other support staff who can recognize, diagnose and make recommendations on a wide variety of medical issues.
EDs are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.
If you are unsure of where to go for help, call your physician or the Kauai Urgent Care at 808-245-1532. You can also call the Wilcox Medical Center Emergency Department at 808-245-1100.
