HPH Pharmacies are committed to delivering the highest quality care and service to our patients.

We are responsible for compounding and dispensing medications and supplies, as well as providing drug information and education.

We strive to help our patients restore or maintain health by providing convenient access to safe and effective medication and offering expert advice. Our department partners with providers and other health care personnel in the hospitals and clinics to create a healthier Hawaii.

Pharmacy services include:

  • Hospital-Based Pharmacy – Care for hospitalized patients as well as patients having same-day procedures or receiving care through one of our infusion centers or emergency departments.
  • Specialty Pharmacy – Dedicated help managing medications for chronic and complex conditions.
  • Clinic-Based (Ambulatory) Pharmacy – Services for Straub patients who are receiving clinic-based care for specific chronic conditions.

Outpatient Pharmacy Locations
We have three conveniently-located pharmacies where patients can fill and refill prescriptions, as well as pick up common over-the-counter medications.

Our outpatient pharmacies are located at KapiolaniPali Momi and Straub medical centers.


Hospital-Based Pharmacy Services

We offer 24/7 pharmacy services for hospitalized patients, as well as patients undergoing same-day procedures or receiving care through one of our infusion centers or emergency departments.

Hospital-based pharmacy services include:

  • Drug preparation, dispensing and delivery.
  • Optimization and monitoring of drug therapy, including pharmacist-managed drug therapy for select medications.
  • Clinical pharmacist support on medical center floors.
  • Drug information.
  • Medication reconciliation.
  • Patient education.
  • Discharge and transport facilitation.
  • Formulary management.

Specialty Pharmacy Services

We know managing specialty medications for chronic and complex conditions can be expensive and difficult. The Hawaii Pacific Health Specialty Pharmacy team is here to help you.

We provide personalized, one-on-one service for patients with various medical conditions including cancer, irritable bowel, infectious disease, hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and more.

Our specialized pharmacists and pharmacy team members will work with your care team to help you get the best possible results from your medicines at the lowest cost.

The Kapiolani Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy serves patients and the public filling prescriptions, offering over-the-counter medications, dispensing medical supplies (including breast pumps) and providing expert advice.

Pali Momi

Pharmacy services available through care providers at Pali Momi include the HPH Specialty Pharmacy and hospital-based pharmacy services.

The Pali Momi Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy serves patients and the public by filling prescriptions, offering over-the-counter medications and providing expert advice. 

Straub Benioff

Pharmacy services available through care providers at Straub include the HPH Specialty Pharmacy, clinic-based (ambulatory) pharmacy and hospital-based pharmacy services.

The Straub Medical Center Outpatient Pharmacy serves patients and the public by filling prescriptions, offering over-the-counter medications and providing expert advice.

Clinic-Based (Ambulatory) Pharmacy Services

Medication management and support for patients who are not hospitalized but are receiving clinic-based care for specific chronic conditions.

Services include:

  • Manage patients on warfarin in our anticoagulation clinic.
  • Chronic medication management through lifestyle coaching and medication counseling.

Wilcox

Outpatient pharmacy services are available at Wilcox Medical Center to fill after-hours discharge and Emergency Department prescriptions.
