The Osteo-cise class was developed for people with or at high risk of osteoporosis. The exercises focus on lengthening the spine, improving posture, balance, and core strength. The philosophy behind Osteo-cise is to strengthen the muscles around the bones at risk for osteoporosis. This class helps safely build muscle and flexibility. Led by exercise physiologist Marcie Nowack.
Virtual Classes
Our Osteo-cise Training will be held virtually via Zoom. A link will be sent to the email provided during registration.
You will need a floor mat, an exercise band, and free weights. Exercise bands can be purchased through the instructor and picked up at the Kapiolani Women’s Center front desk.
