Straub’s professional team includes a physician’s assistant certified in occupational health and environmental medicine. The nursing staff and physician’s assistant are also certified in drug and alcohol testing, hearing conservation and pulmonary function testing.

Kauai Medical Clinic helps local businesses with health care for employees with its Health Appraisal Program. The program focuses on the health and safety needs of the workplace. It helps employees stay healthy and remain on the job. It provides physical examinations, immunizations, substance abuse testing and hazardous materials exposure testing to 75 corporations, federal, state and county agencies. It's the only organized program of its kind on Kauai.
