Hip and Knee Replacement
Pali Momi offers the direct anterior approach hip replacement, partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, revision knee replacement and revision hip replacement. Our highly trained surgeons and staff follow the latest guidelines and protocols for achieving best outcomes in joint reconstruction, including using a RadLink system for precision hip replacements. The joint replacement program at Pali Momi has been growing quickly in response to our customers’ desire to have surgery in their local community.
Spine Surgery
Our orthopedic spine specialists treat a variety of spine-related conditions, including minimally invasive spine surgery, which uses smaller incisions than those used in standard surgery. This approach often causes less harm to nearby muscles and other tissues, and can lead to less pain and faster recovery after surgery. We treat conditions such as herniated discs, pinched nerves, sciatica, scoliosis and lumbar disc disease.
Sports Medicine
Our sports medicine physicians treat injuries and illnesses that affect activity, exercise and performance. Sports medicine physicians treat patients without surgery, but also refer patients to a surgeon when there is a need for surgical evaluation. Our sports medicine physicians also collaborate closely with physical and occupational therapists to help restore an active person’s function and independence after an illness or injury. Examples of conditions treated here are ACL injuries, dislocations, tendonitis, overuse injuries from sports, torn meniscus and more.
Pediatric Sports Medicine
Children and adolescents are still growing and face different conditions than adult patients. Therefore, it is important that their care is administered by an expert in pediatric medicine. Examples of conditions and injuries treated here are knee ligament injuries, sprains and strains, concussions, dislocations and other sports-related injuries. The sports medicine physicians treat patients without surgery, but also refer patients to a surgeon when there is a need for surgical evaluation. Rheumatology
Our rheumatologists treat arthritis and other rheumatic diseases. Rheumatic diseases may cause pain, stiffness and swelling in the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones. Sometimes, arthritis is caused by an autoimmune disorder. This means the body's immune system attacks its own healthy cells and tissues. Our physicians care for patients experiencing these types of arthritic disorders in conditions as gout, arthritis, osteoporosis, lupus, scleroderma and osteoarthritis
Hand Surgery
Hand surgery can help patients both regain function and preserve (or retain) the appearance of their hands. Pali Momi offers a surgeon with extensive additional training in hand surgery who treats patients with a wide range of hand problems.
