General Information

BE the healthiest possible YOU

At Hawaii Pacific Health, the safety of our patients, visitors, care providers and staff is always our top priority.

Update Nov. 19, 2024
The Hawaii Department of Health has reported an increase in respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infections in our communities. We also are seeing a rise in RSV among our hospitalized patients, particularly among our pediatric patients.

RSV can cause severe disease for pediatric patients, immunocompromised patients and older adults.

In response, we are adjusting our safety protocols and will closely monitor this situation until we begin to see a decline in RSV activity among our pediatric patients.

Spiritual Care

If you are a patient, family member or friend of a patient, a hospital chaplain is available to provide for your emotional and spiritual needs. Our Spiritual Care Services include helping families observe their own faith practices and express their spirituality, providing children and families spiritual care as they cope with their medical center experience, encouraging and caring for grieving families and individuals who are experiencing a crisis, and supporting medical center staff and employees in providing quality care.

Clinically trained chaplains are committed to providing compassionate spiritual care that respects the beliefs of each person. To speak with a chaplain, arrange a visit or to request a cleric of a particular faith, please call our office at extension 8651 in the hospital or 808-983-0000 when calling from outside the medical center. Your own spiritual care provider is always welcome at the medical center.
