OFFERING INFORMATION:
CATCH 2022 - Caring for Adults and Teens with Congenital Heart Disease Conference begins on Thursday, February 17, 2022.
It will focus on the quality of life of teens and adults with Congenital Heart Disease. The conference will provide a comprehensive overview of advances in imaging, surgical and catheterization treatments and procedures, while exploring patients' perspectives and the unique lifelong challenges of living with congenital heart condition.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
1. Identify benefits and disadvantages of pediatric
and adult care facilities in ACHD.
2. Provide high quality care for patients with ACHD
in the peri-operative setting.
3. Incorporate aspects of well-being in ACHD
patient care.
4. Balance medical and personal goals for optimal
overall outcome for ACHD patients.
5. Apply recent technological advances to enhance
sophisticated and personalized care in ACHD.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Hawai‘i Pacific Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ™ for physicians. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Hawai‘i Pacific Health maintains responsibility for this course. Social workers completing this course receive 12.75 continuing education credits.

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). Hawai‘i Pacific Health maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
MOC:
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 12.75 MOC part two points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for this activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant complete information to the ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC Credit.
Successful completion of the CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 12.75 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to the ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.
This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology™ (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0 requirements.
