Infant Care (with CPR)

This three-part class series is designed to educate expectant parents on how best to prepare for the arrival your precious newborn. Topics include:

  • Preparing for your baby’s arrival.
  • Breastfeeding.
  • General infant care.
  • Bathing.
  • Child safety and childproofing.
  • Child passenger safety.
  • Infant CPR.

Each class is taught by an experienced childbirth educator who tailors each class to those in attendance. Classes are designed to answer common questions parents have while providing real-time instruction to guide participants through practical skills.

Registration includes one book and Infant CPR Anytime Kit. Up to two people are invited to attend each in-person class.

In-Person Classes

Our classes are held at either Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children or Pali Momi Medical Center. Please note the location on the class registration below.

Infant CPR will be done as a hands-on exercise with your instructor per American Heart Association guidelines. Classes are designed for adult participants. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate children in class at this time. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Virtual Classes

Curbside pickup of materials (book and Infant CPR Anytime Kit) will be scheduled prior to the start of class. Pickup is located at the Bingham Street patient drop-off area. Instructions for literature pickup and login will be provided to you through our Contact Center.

Our Virtual Infant Care will be held through a video conference call. While mobile devices are capable, please keep in mind that attending our class on a desktop computer or laptop will allow you to enjoy the best experience.
