Should baby sleep on their stomach or their back? Should we put bumper pads in the crib? This instructor-led class will answer these questions and more.
This class is designed to educate grandparents and caregivers on the latest updates and current findings on how to care for a newborn. Topics include:
- Updated baby care basics.
- Safety guidelines.
- Car seats.
- Baby care basics (information on feeding, bathing, swaddling, safe sleep positions).
- Infant CPR.
Registration includes one book and Infant CPR Anytime Kit. Up to two people are invited to attend each in-person class.
In-Person Classes
Classes are designed for adult participants. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate children in class at this time. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
Virtual Classes
Curbside pickup of materials (book and Infant CPR Anytime Kit) will be scheduled prior to the start of class. Pickup is located at the Bingham Street patient drop-off area. Instructions for literature pickup and login will be provided to you through our Contact Center.
Our Virtual Infant Care for Grandparents & Caregivers will be held through a video conference call. While mobile devices are capable, please keep in mind that attending our class on a desktop computer or laptop will allow you to enjoy the best experience.
