Clinicians are faced with evolving methods and standards of care. This may pose a challenge between scientific research and clinical practice. This offering will address these challenges and update clinicians on methods and standards of care.


OBJECTIVES:
1. Discuss the basic principles, advantages and limitations of cardiovascular MRI.
2. State the appropriate use of cardiac MRI as it relates to clinical practice.
3. Recognize common clinical scenarios which cardiac MRI may be able to aid in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
